Resurrect ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application or website.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Account Information

• Email address (used for authentication and communication)
• Username and avatar selection (public profile data)
• Authentication provider (Apple, Google, or email/password)

Usage Data

• Session logs: start time, end time, duration
• Streak data and total hours locked in
• Leaderboard rankings and badge achievements
• App settings and preferences

Device Data

• Device type and operating system version (for compatibility)
• Timezone (for accurate session tracking and streak resets)

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Create and manage your account
• Calculate leaderboard rankings and streak data
• Send transactional emails (signup confirmation, launch notifications)
• Improve and personalize your experience
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Resurrect uses Apple's Family Controls framework to block apps during sessions. This permission is used solely to apply and remove app restrictions at your direction.

We do not collect, store, or transmit any data about which apps you use or your Screen Time history. The restriction is applied locally on your device using iOS system APIs.

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), a secure cloud database. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and Firebase security rules.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase — authentication and data storage (Privacy Policy)
• RevenueCat — subscription management (Privacy Policy)
• Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In — authentication only; we receive only your email and name
• Resend — transactional email delivery

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete Account). Account deletion removes all associated data from our systems within 30 days.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

The Service is not directed to children under 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If we become aware that a child under 17 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
